MyExpenseHub — Terms of Use

Last updated: 23 May 2026 · Andrew Webster · theappdad.com

These Terms govern your use of the mobile application MyExpenseHub (the “App”) on iOS. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Provider

The App is provided by Andrew Webster (The App Dad). Website: www.theappdad.com.

What the App is

MyExpenseHub is a local expense logging tool for capturing receipt images, organising them into claims, and exporting reports (PDF/CSV). The App is provided for personal or internal business record-keeping. It is not tax, accounting, or legal advice.

Your data and accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of amounts, dates, currencies, and claim details you save or export. OCR and automatic currency detection are best-effort aids — always verify totals before submitting expenses to an employer, HMRC, or any third party.

Your claims and receipt images are stored on your device unless you export or share them using iOS share features.

MyExpenseHub Pro

MyExpenseHub Pro is a one-time in-app purchase via Apple’s App Store (com.webster.MyExpenseHub.pro) that unlocks features such as ad-free use, multi-currency receipts, claimable amount limits, and premium export styling.

Free version and advertising

The free version may display third-party advertisements (Google AdMob). Ad content is provided by third parties; we do not endorse advertised products or services.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes, attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the App, or upload content you do not have the right to use.

Intellectual property

The App, its design, and branding are owned by The App Dad or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of OCR results.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The App Dad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Apple

If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Andrew Webster, not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, subject to Apple’s store rules. Refunds and payment disputes are handled through Apple according to its policies.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
